Sand Temperature Modulator

Sand temperature modulator is composed of several cooling section. Cooling section consists of body, several drain pipe with heat sink, adjusting plate with double orifice plate and manual flashboard, etc.

Working Prnciple

Molding sand enters into sand temperature regulator from the upper storage sand bucket, molding sand slowly down to the bottom by gravity from the pipes that with heat sink, in the process of its falling process, the molding sand fully contact with heat sink pipe to exchange heat, the circulating water within the pipes would take the heat of molding sand into the circulating pool for heat emission. In sand processing system, the sand temperature regulator is loaded with temperature sensor, when the sand temperature is higher than the set value, the temperature sensor would commands the adjusting plate to close, store molding sand in the sand temperature regulator, making the molding sand has sufficient heat exchange time with the water pipe, until the sand temperature reaches the specified value, then the adjusting plate open, discharge the molding sand that stored in sand temperature modulator to the next device, which formed batch heat exchange process in storage, cooling and discharge over and over again, ensuring the cooling effect that the sand temperature set.
